1. Simple Clean Design.
Your website needs to be simple, clean and responsive with as little clutter as possible. I’ve seen to many businesses trying to promote all their products and services on the homepage. If your visitors see too many offers, they can easily get confused and leave. The best websites are designed to guide visitors through the site to the page with the information they are looking for.

You need a landing page. A landing page is a dedicated webpage you setup to promote a product or service. If you sell 3 products and 1 service, you need to have a landing page for each one of them featuring the benefits to using them In order to make landing pages work for your business you need to do a few things:
You need and offer i.e.: product or service, and an opt-in form to capture leads (email addresses) or a call to action button (CTA) which takes them someplace where you can capture the lead or purchase your product.

It is the process of getting traffic from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” search results on search engines. In other words when people search on the web for a product or service you are offering you want your website to come up on the first page of the search results. The key is to use Googles key word planner tool to find the key words you need. Then you can add them to you posts of pages using one of the many plugins like Yoast SEO.

If you are doing business on the web then you need a YouTube channel, Facebook page, and a LinkedIn account. A google account will be necessary for YouTube. You also need this account for analytics. I am not a big fan of LinkedIn unless you are a service driven business or if your goal is to market yourself as an expert in a given field of study, then LinkedIn is a must.
